Intensive Spanish courses

Standard Intensive Course

Gain the maximum progress from your stay in Spain. With these courses you will be speaking and writing confidently. 20 teaching hours a week. Appropriate for all levels Beginners to Advanced levels. Course length available from from one week to 16 weeks.

Standard Intensive Spanish and Kite-surfing

Combine an intensive Spanish course during the week with a two day Kite-surfing course at the weekend. Equipment hire also available during the week.

Combination Intensive Spanish and Flamenco Classes

Combine an intensive Spanish course during the week with afternoon Flamenco classes of one hour a day. There are also opportunities to see live shows.

Combination Intensive Spanish and Horse riding

Course Structure

At the Lighthouse Language school we use an interactive method of teaching Spanish, based on learning by practise. You will spend more time communicating than memorising. That means that grammar and vocabulary are covered in real, practical situations. You willl communicaate better attaining greater confidence as you progress.

The teaching concentrates mostly on people being able to communicate well in Spanish rather than writing or grammatical exercises, although grammar is occasionally used to clarify any doubts the students may have and also in more advanced classes when it is necessary to make further progress.

Personal Attention

Personal attention at Lighthouse is the key to success. The courses focus on what students need and what they want to gain from the course rather than using one method for all as we recognise that what suits one person may not be the best for other students.

All our Spanish classes have between six and eight students. The flexibility of small groups allows the teacher to focus on your needs and interests.
